About me

I Was born in 1971 in al little village called  Graft , situated in the Eilandspolder in the Netherlands. I have an inspiring vieuw on this water and landscape , while I'm turning the potterywheel . 

In 2009 I started throwing ceramics. I took some classes in Holland and in France  at the  'Bo Filarski"atelier.  There I got the hang of making pottery.

Beside throwing the wheel, I discovered that making ceramic art whithout the wheel also is a enjoyable thing to do.  Physically  and mentally this gives a total different  sensation. Does throwing the wheel make me become quiet, while creating just with my hands, my hands almost can not follow the speed of the sence that I need to create. I do not see what I want to create in my head, but it is a feeling of  how it should be.
